It’s officially summer and this front yard transformation is ready and looking good! The pop of color the Cosmos and California Poppies bring is👌🏼!

We shared front yard before/after of this Ojai transformation, and the backyard is just as great! This backyard was previously fence-to-fence sod. The flagstone patio, new trees, and remaining grass areas are a serene spot to relax, and keep an eye on the 🐓🐓🐓

Today is World Oceans Day. We’re lucky Channel Islands National Park is in our backyard. Today only 7% of our oceans are protected - we support the global movement to protect 30% by 2030

So excited to be part of this Ojai transformation! Looking forward to sharing more of the expansive backyard.

Here’s to the weekend and finishing up this Ojai transformation! Incorporating low maintenance flowering plants like Guara [Lindheimer’s Beeblossom] gave this serene landscape a nice pop of color and contrast against the decomposed granite, succulents and cacti 🌵

This Thomas Fire rebuild is at the finish line! Love the clean lines in the design and use of natives on the hillside for low maintenance, low water use, and erosion control. Looking forward to Spring doing its magic and bringing all these plants to life 🌱
